Last night’s Board Meeting gave us so much to celebrate as we recognized outstanding leadership, academic achievement, and financial excellence across Monte Alto ISD!
Congratulations to Board Member Mrs. Ester Cardaza-Wade on graduating from the TASB Leadership Course and earning the prestigious designation of Master Trustee! This accomplishment reflects her continued commitment to leadership, learning, and service. Thank you, Mrs. Cardaza-Wade, for your dedication and for continuing to advocate for the students, families, staff, and community of Monte Alto ISD.
We were also proud to recognize Monte Alto ISD for earning a "B" Accountability Rating! This achievement represents the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, campus leaders, and families. Every day, we continue working together to provide our students with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

This week our teachers were introduced to the LIFT Grant, where they learned about the program's initiatives, goals, and expectations for the upcoming school year. This exciting opportunity will empower our educators with innovative strategies, professional growth, and new ways to support student success.

The 2026–2027 bus routes are now available! We encourage all families to review their student's assigned before the first day of school. Morning routes begin at 6:20 AM, and buses are scheduled to arrive at school no later than 7:20 AM. Afternoon routes begin at 3:50 PM. Bus routes may change throughout the school year, and campuses will notify families in advance of any updates or delays.
